Assessment Profile

Assessment at Hive is used as diagnostic process to identify the nature of assistance needed by students and to improve courses and units within the curriculum.
As a teaching process to provide continuous feedback to students.
As a means of determining the levels of achievement reached by our students.
To inform parents of their children's progress.
To allow the school to monitor the effectiveness of the curriculum. The purpose and means of assessment is clearly explained to the students at all times.
